Operations Manager

Job Purpose

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing all functions from orders to delivery. The Operations Manager will play a leading role in continuous improvement and operations excellence initiatives. Areas of focus would include setting key performance indicators and building employee engagement through ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring; promoting employee engagement, empowerment and teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Lead and proactively work with rest of the team.
  2. Be an active participate in quality management programs.
  3. Ensure employees are properly trained in all aspects of their jobs including human relations, process, safety and delivery service.
  4. Coordinate with external business partners .
  5. Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships.
  6. Determine operations headcount needs and identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve speed of delivery.
